6. The trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the "Trademarks") displayed on the Site, are registered and unregistered Trademarks of Argo-Tech and others. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on the Site without the written permission of Argo-Tech or such third party that may own the Trademarks displayed on the Site. Your misuse of the Trademarks displayed on the Site, or any other content on the Site, except, as provided in these Terms and Conditions, is strictly prohibited. You are also advised that Argo-Tech will aggressively enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution.

Argo-Tech has adopted the following policies to safeguard your personal information.

Our web site may contain links to other sites, and we make every effort to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. However, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.

Argo-Tech Corporation gathers three types of data about users: (a) company and personal information that individual users provide through registration; (b) tracking information, which is automatically collected about every visitor to our site; and (c) e-commerce transaction information.

Argo-Tech Corporation uses information obtained from its users to support user functionality on our site. As a general rule, we will not disclose any personal information to any third parties, except when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, to protect other users of Argo-Tech Corporation's services, or to respond to an emergency. A cookie is a small data file that certain web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Argo-Tech does use cookies in the e-commerce portion of this site.

Tracking information is used by Argo-Tech Corporation to create aggregate reports on user demographics and site traffic patterns. None of the information can be connected to the identities or other personal information of individual users.

Argo-Tech Corporation uses reasonable security methods to protect the data that resides on our servers. However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our servers, nor can we guarantee that information that users supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.

E-commerce Capabilities

The Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy discussed above cover the E-Commerce portions of the Argo-Tech.com site with exceptions discussed below. Access to the Argo-Tech.com e-commerce functionality is controlled by user ID and password and requires customer company registration for access. The functionality of this site is intended to provide approved Argo-Tech Corporation customers the ability to access Argo-Tech technical documents and the Argo-Tech catalog on-line, as well as, the ability to order Argo-Tech parts, pumps and technical documents on-line. The terms and conditions governing management of the technical documents and catalog remain the same as when distributed through other channels. The terms and conditions of the procurement process are the same as those for non-Internet channels and are presented for acceptance during the procurement process.
